According to Executive Producer Mark Rubin quick scoping will not be as viable in Call of Duty Ghosts. Quick scoping takes advantage of the auto-aim feature that helps players get aimed at enemies. Quick scopers perform a simple aim down sight movement which aided by the auto-aim and can allow one shot kills from a larger kill radius than real life sniper rifles. Routinely a practiced quick scoper can get kills with the cross hairs of the sniper rifle never getting close to the target because of the auto-aim exploit. So now you know why you have been killed by sniper fire that appeared to never have come close to your avatar.
